<![CDATA[6.9 - A little fun interrupted by a period.]]>v6.9 contains a new feature Folder as Workspace which is one of most wanted features.

Folder as Workspace opens your folder(s) in a panel so you can browse folder(s) and open any file in Notepad++. Every changement in the folder(s) from outside will be synchronized in the panel. Usage: Simply drop 1 (or more) folder(s) in Notepad++.

One thing to make it even better is to allow for the option to collapse folders that only contain a sub-folder. This would very useful for java programmers, since their package names (and thus underlying folder structure) contains many nested folders.

This is also true for scala and any other language that uses nested packages/namespaces

I just did an update (windows 7 enterprise SP1) and no themes and no theme directory even though I had some selected.

Could you provide more detailled info such as:

  1. How did you update? By using the installer?
  2. update from which version? Did you have themes dire before updating?

Unfortunately that setting doesn’t automatically get unset when updating. Personally I use Courier New for the default font.

(Either as a global font, default font, etc). There have been issues with this particular font showing ampersands correctly. Just FYI it works fine for me.

If I had Word Wrap on, and go to the beginning of a line, if I would hit “Shift-End” it would select to the end of the line (even if displayed on multiple lines). With the new version, it only selects to the end of the display line.

Afterwards, I copied the .bin to my usb and unzipped the files in a separate folder inside the usb, so far everything seems to work fine. Lost all my work, but at least it’s functioning again.

I’m running the program on my usb, so I’m not sure if that’s where the problem is, but I’ve also installed the program on my desktop and the same issue occurs, just hangs and doesn’t start up. It was working fine earlier in the day, but after I did some work using HTML and CSS, everything just stopped working. Any help would be great. Thanks.
