<![CDATA[Notepad++ not usable with network drives]]>It’s not possible to use Notepad++ with ejected network drives. The whole application hangs, the interface don’t reacts.

which operating system do you use?

what do you mean by “interface”? … Notepad++ or computer?

please list the sequence of events and actions that lead to the problem

for example:

  1. i navigate to a network drive and double click on text file
  2. Notepad++ opens and i start editing the text file
  3. network drive drops out sometime during editing
  4. i try to save the text file and Notepad++ freezes for 20 minutes.
