<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0"><channel><title><![CDATA[UDL limitations -- what&#x27;s the alternate for syntax highlighting?]]></title><description><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">I’m trying to do a UDL for the <a href="http://cid.vcc.ca/p1-dl/instructions/moodle_v2/GIFT-format.html" rel="nofollow ugc">GIFT format</a>, which uses blank lines as a delimiter (for question separators). It seems that there’s no way to get UDL to recognize blank lines (I tried ((EOL))((EOL)) to no avail. I could not find any documentation for supplying regex’s inside the UDL definition, either.</p>
<p dir="auto">So, is there another way to achieve syntax highlighting for GIFT inside NPP (via plug-in, etc.)?</p>

<p dir="auto">may I ask for what you need to define the blank lines?<br />
If I understand this correctly, it is only used to let the GIFT engine know when<br />
an new question starts.<br />
Even if it could be done, it doesn’t get visualized.</p>
<p dir="auto">What am I missing?</p>
