All those  appeared before every name of what I had done and also in my heading.  They show on the webpage.  How do I get rid of them??? TIA</p>

The <em>bullet</em> and other characters where strangely displayed!</p>
<p dir="auto"><em>&lt;head&gt;<br />
&lt;meta charset=“utf-8”/&gt;</em><br />
produces weird characters IF the file is not <em>Saved as UTF-8</em>.</p>
