Jump to the end of lines with different length in multi selection

Hi all,
I have read many forums and posts on the net about this issue, but I have not got the solution of my exact probleam.
I have got a new pc and the notepadd++ does not work as same as before without any manual modifications (maybe the version is not same). When I used to hold ‘Alt’ and select lines with mouse - multi selection - I could jump to the end of the last characters in every single selected rows with ‘Backspace’ at the same the.
I could do that if I did it in the right side (I mean plenty after the last characher) and I moved the mouse to the right and I pressed the ‘Backspace’.I do not know which property of program is that allows this function.
Can you help me?Regards,

Not sure I follow your description, but have a look at the reference to the BetterMultiSelection plugin in this thread: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/community/topic/13980/multi-line-and-cursor-movements , it may help you achieve what you want.

Your solution dosen’t work on my PC unfortunately.
But the version of Notepad++ doesn’t matter. How I want to select Notepad++ 5.6.8 can carry out.Thanks for you answer :)
