<![CDATA[Notepad++ Replaces some numbers with random characters?]]>Whenever I use Notepad++ It changes some numbers to random characters. Like when I would put in something simple as, 1234567890, it comes out as 12=4=D8~9~ It replaces numbers to these characters. Its very annoying and I really need help. Please respond as fast as possible.

this means, that the font you used previously has been corrupted.
If you do a web search for fix broken font you should get a plenty
of links which will show you what needs to be done in order to make
this font working properly again.
Btw. npps default font used by the editor control is, afaik, Courier New.

does this happen if you switch the font also?

Type your text, enable global font and switch the font name.
You should see the changes immediately.
