If I create a new file and put # as the first character, the style isn’t respected
If I hit enter first and then on the next line start with #, the style is respected.

There is also some weirdness when using block quote/unquote with the ctrl+q which I can go into more detail for if necessary.

Just wondering if there is something special I need to do to get the behavior I’m expecting, or if this is a bug? I did see that a bug was posted to sourceforge regarding what seems to be the same issue a few years ago: https://sourceforge.net/p/npp-plugins/bugs/254/
