I regularly use find and replace to locate \t and replace with 4 spaces, or I look for a space before a comma to replace with just a comma. I do have the extended checked in search mode. Did something in the update change to prevent these?</p>

<p dir="auto">Do you have the “word” checkbox selected?  I find that when this is the case and I search for, say a space, nothing will be found, even though I can SEE the space chars in my document.</p>
