<![CDATA[NP process still active when closed]]>When I start NP++, it creates a process, but when I exit NP++ it stays there and is not removed. If I start another instance of NP++, I get another process start. I can continue and I could have many instances of NP++ process in memory.

If I have the document map showing, with many processes in memory still, I will see a faint outline of the document map showing on my desktop still, after NP++ closes, until I close all of the running processes.

I have the settings set as follows;

  • I don’t have the auto update enabled
  • Mono instance set
  • Minimise to system tray is NOT set

I don’t remember it doing this before. Does anyone else have this problem?

MenuSearch is the culprit. When I close NP, it disappears from the process tree as well. Sorted :)

There was an issue when using a DSpellVersion < 1.4.4,
could this be your issue as well?
