<![CDATA[Can you stop Notepad++ from selecting whole words?]]>When I am dragging my cursor across a line, selecting characters, it tends to extend the selection up to the end of the next word. Is there a way to turn off this feature, so that it only selects the characters I need?

This implies the mouse, correct? I’ve never seen this behavior, mouse-drag selecting always does one character at a time.
