<p dir="auto">You might be looking for: Settings &gt; Preferences &gt; Multi-Instance = Default (mono-instance)</p>
<p dir="auto">Then again, if you have an association for session files, it might be calling notepad++ with the -multiInst command-line option, which overrides the Preferences.  You’d have to check your Windows registry to fix that.</p>
