<p dir="auto">Next time you search the previous results will be cleared.</p>

<p dir="auto">It would help for the case where you want to do an <em>Open all</em> after the search.  In those cases I always forget about the old stuff hanging around and end up with more files open (sometimes way more if it has been a long day) than intended.</p>

My brain, for whatever reason, doesn’t filter out the other ones even though they’re collapsed.</p>
<p dir="auto">I did find the context-menu Clear function and do use that… just trying to avoid the extra steps if it was possible.</p>

<p dir="auto">No, but I must ask why this is important?  Previous searches get collapsed automatically so they are visually “out of the way”.</p>
<p dir="auto">Related: Probably you know this, but you can do it manually by right-clicking in the search results window and choosing <em>Clear all</em>.</p>
