Hello. I think my program is not Notepad++ but the regular notepad, yet I still hope you all can help me.

The screenshot you linked us of Microsoft’s notepad.exe, which is a completely separate product compared to Notepad++, which is the editor discussed in this forum.

That’s like going to a Windows forum to ask a question about your Mac. You might find someone who could answer your question, but it’s off topic.

But it’s such a generic question that I will answer:

In this picture, is the statusbar the entire thing in red. Or is the statusbar just the Ln1, Col 1 thing?

The status bar is the entire bar. The text is just the content of the status bar. Why the distinction matters to you is beyond me, but there you go.
