If all you are capable of doing is saying “it doesn’t work”, then no one can help you. Please reference Peter’s prior post.

I am trying to drag out of you enough details for us to know what actions you are taking, let alone what is going wrong that might cause Notepad++ to crash. Because if you don’t tell us more, we can do nothing to help you.

You say “I am connecting to the backend of the server”. What are you using to connect to the backend of the server? FileZilla? WinSCP? psftp? Application X? What?

Be specific. Be detailed. Explain in excrutiating detail what steps you are taking.

If you cannot do that, then the least you can do is share Notepad++'s ?-menu, Debug Info, because that tells us about how you set up Notepad++ … and maybe it will give us a clue about a plugin that you are using or somethig that might be causing instability.

But with what you’ve told us so far, I cannot help you.

I had never heard of “dayz server”, so I had to google it. The best results made it appear it is a video game server? Since I am doubtful that you are connecting to the video game server with Notepad++, I am confused as to what the sequence of events you are taking is, and what the dayz server has to do with Notepad++.

Are you really having the problem where you have a “dayz client” program running at the same time as Notepad++ is running, and when the “dayz client” connects to the “dayz server”, then somehow Notepad++ crashes? I don’t see how that could be a problem with Notepad++ itself: it would sound to me like the “dayz client” is an unstable program that does something funky to the operating system, which causes Notepad++ to crash. But it’s complete guesswork.
