<![CDATA[NPP+ 8.5.4 Now Folder As Workspace undocked and can't re dock it.]]>I’m generally pleased with NPP+ but it seems someone broke (aka upgraded) the Folder As Workspace option.

It used to be docked in the window but now it’s a floating panel with apparently very little usefulness. WHAT HAPPENED?

Can I do something to get back like it was? This happened after an upgrade. :(

Windows 10 Pro on a Lenovo X-250 notebook. I7 processor, 89gb RAM

Probably a “mouse stutter” that wasn’t harmless. I hate when such a stutter happens to me, but I know of no way to prevent it. Hopefully you know what is meant with this…

There IS visual feedback; probably it could be better (but that’s true of most things in life). IMO the user manual describes this fairly well.

While I waited for your very informative reply, I did try for a few minutes to drag that Folder As Workspace window back in to the main window.

It didn’t want to dock! More tries made it clear I’d have to guess exactly where to “drop” it, no clues about how close I was to a permissible drop location. I’m thinking the visual feedback could be better.

First successful dock (7 or 8 tries) was at the top of the window, full width.

Finally it lucked into my desired spot on the left hand, vertically.

In my experience, other apps with repositionable toolbars give visual clues to make it clear that they can be docked, stacked, de-docked and give some indication of which positions are allowed/disallowed.

So thank you NPP+ and all you happy people.
