May I please request feature as per BowPad per demonstration in attached video. Such is very convenient as it precludes the necessity of attempting to recall the required key / mouse click combination to traverse the link exempli gratia "is it mouse click is it double mouse click is it Ctrl+mouse click is it Ctrl + double mouse click is it Alt+mouse click is it Alt+double mouse click is it Ctrl+Alt+mouse click is it Ctrl+Alt+double mouse click etc. etc. etc. ad nauseum not to mention the Shift key.

This isn’t the place for feature requests, per our FAQ. So requesting it here will not get it into the Developer’s attention. But it will solicit our opinions, some of which might not agree with you.

And in my opinion, I think it’s pointless: double-click isn’t that hard to remember. Every app has its own set of keyboard/mouse shortcuts, and a fact of life in computer applications is that no two applications choose the same set of keyboard/mouse shortcuts. You will always have to learn how to use the application you are currently in. And I, as someone who knows that Notepad++ double-clicks whereas MS Office requires Ctrl+Click, would find it really annoying if Notepad++ always pestered me with that popup (just like it annoys me that MS Office does, on a daily basis). And even if you forget, you can always just copy the link manually and paste it into your browser instead. So I would vote against such a feature.
