You can also check NppGTags plugin from Notepad++'s Plugin Manager (this is its project URL: https://github.com/pnedev/nppgtags) - it uses Global GTags to index your code-base and then you can look-up identifiers and do greps.

P.S. You love Notepad++, “Boycott Notepad++” is probably not the proper place for your thread. It is more suitable for general discussion or plugins sections as a question and/or suggestion for Notepad++ improvement.
