<![CDATA[Inability to save file to OneDrive with 8.9.6 version of Notepad++]]>I did an upgrade from 8.9.5 and after that happened, there was a behavior change to Notepad ++. With this update, when I wanted to save a file to my OneDrive, the UAC comes up asking to enter my administrator credentials.

Now if I enter them or I don’t enter them, the file fails to save. Version 8.9.6 has no problems saving files to other locations on the system that the user would normally have permissions to.

This problem only manifests in 8.9.6. Previous versions did not have this problem. I normally do 99% of my writes to OneDrive, so this is a small problem. And I normally work in user mode, without administrative permissions for saftey reasons. I have not tried logging in as an administrator and accessing my OneDrive, but believe I don’t have to because the situation I am using is pretty common.
