Beyond its excellent technical capabilities, I have always deeply respected how Notepad++ uses its platform and release titles to raise global awareness about major human rights issues, humanitarian crises, and historical atrocities (such as the Tiananmen June Fourth Incident Edition, the Uyghur/Hong Kong releases, and the ongoing support for Ukraine).Seeing how the project sheds light on deep historical scars and ongoing struggles, I wanted to ask if you have ever considered dedicating a future release to honoring the victims of the Srebrenica Genocide (which took place in July 1995 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is recognized by the UN and international courts). In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the universal slogan for remembering this tragedy is “Never Forgive, Never Forget Srebrenica”. Given your long-standing commitment to human rights and remembering historical injustices through software releases, a memorial edition carrying this message would mean a lot to many users who appreciate when open-source projects stand up for historical truth, remembrance, and the fight against denial.Thank you for your time, your dedication to human rights, and for keeping Notepad++ an amazing tool for everyone. Best regards.</p>
