Sometimes after some work (without saving) I enter a wrong regexp (which would take infinite time to execute) and Notepad++ freezes forever (I lose all my work).<br />
It should be nice to display a popup after n seconds that asks to continue or to stop current operation.<br />

If you want to indicate that this feature is wanted, you could upvote in an issue comment.</p>
