Replace many letters at same time.

Hello everyone,
I have a simple question, but I couldn’t find an answer in the countless topics I read. Yes, I know it’s my fault and that’s why I decided to ask for help.
I need to replace
a) 1111111
b) 2222222
c) 3333333
d) 4444444
e) 5555555
with
A. 111111
B. 222222
C. 333333
D. 444444
E. 555555
But I don’t want to do it one by one, because I have documents that have 70, 80 questions. Is there a way to replace them all at once? Whts easy method?

My solution would be, using the “Replace” function (search mode is regular expression):
Find What:^(.)\)
Replace With:\U\1.
Click on Replace All. So each character at the start of a line (which has a following)) would be replaced by it’s capitalised version of the letter.Terry
