Formatting/Commenting Issue with YML files

I noticed an issue with pasting YML into a YML file. I copy my config as
<cr> vars: #ansible_connection: ansible.netcommon.network_cli #No ansible_network_os available for Dell PowerConnect OSAfterwards, I paste the above into my YML file at the end of the previous line.
I expected both commented lines to be commented out (turn green). But the first commented line, does not turn green. I have to backspace the line until it jumps up the the previous line. Then I can hit enter to move it down to a new line, and it turns green.

I cannot replicate your problem:
When I paste that in, the YAML formats the comments correctly, as far as I can tell.
Could you either give the original data, and where you paste it? And your ?-menu’s Debug Info?
