Bug: elevated rights (Administrator) after update prevent drag'n'drop

Notepad++ is started as admin after an auto-update.
This will break drag’n’drop, because Windows disallows such interaction between Explorer running under the current user account and any application running as administrator.

may I ask you on which os and from and to which npp version the auto update was done?

Windows 8.1 64bit and something like npp 6.8.x to 6.9, but it occurred between many more versions before, so that I believe it’s a general problem.
