Annoying bug

Just tried to save a .csv file in notepad++ that was opened in Excel at the same time.
Notepad++ then wanted to open the file in “administrator” mode, I clicked “yes” a bit to fast maybe, but notepad++ restarted in administrator mode and all my changes to the file was lost, and also all my previosly opened documents was closed.
Restarting in “normal mode” didn’t keep the old files opened.
So maybe some kind of “session save” when switchning mode? or keeping the sessions separated is possible?
