Notepad ++ pinned items

Hello Everyone,
I have notepad++ issue where i have file type Test.txt or Windows Shell Common or not extensions on the file.
when i try to right click to open with Notepad ++ i get the following error below.Shellexecute failed(2): Is this command correct?
“C:\programs files (x86)\Notepad++\notepad++.exe”
“P:&HOLD&\10289775.HL6_93” >>>>>>>>>>> P:… is the mapped drive where i tried to open the file with notepad++Another issue is if i open files from the C:\ on the machine notepad++ remembers the file even after the machine is rebooted but if i open anything from the mapped drives after the machine reboot its not there except for the files opened from the local drives.
If you have come across this issue and have resolution would you please share.
