      I recently noticed that Notepad++ interprets hyperlinks with extra characters at the end of the link incorrectly. For example, the following text in Notepad++:

      (http://notepad-plus-plus.org)

      shows the closing parenthesis β€œ)” as part of the link and when you double click it, the URL is not found. Debug info is as follows:

      Notepad++ v7.4.1 (64-bit)
      Build time : May 18 2017 - 02:02:28
      Path : C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe
      Admin mode : OFF
      Local Conf mode : OFF
      OS : Windows 7 (64-bit)
      Plugins : DSpellCheck.dll mimeTools.dll NppConverter.dll PluginManager.dll

      Thanks,
      Rich
