<<Find and Find>> is great. Why not <<Replace and Replace>> also.

If you use Find >> first, and then Replace All, it does not replace all, it will only replaces in the direction of Find you last used (up or down). Maybe intended, or maybe a bug, I would have assumed Replace All would Replace all no matter what the previous Find direction I used.

I can’t duplicate the problem. Replace All always replaces all the occurrences even if I use Find >> first.

                Rich, I am using v7.4.2 (32-bit)
I wrote “test” on the 1st line, duplicated it 5 times, then used ctrl+f, after clicking Find >> with “test” to find, when it is on line 4, I click Replace All with “asdf” and it says Replaced All: 2 occurrences were replaced. It did not replace the first two. Maybe another setting controls this?

From another post, same topic, I found out it is the “Wrap around” option, once checked, it works like I was assuming.
With the “replace all” button, replace everything in truth
