Vertical file name list

Hi everybody.
Would it be possible to display the file names opened at the left side of the screen ? This is because at the right side I have got considerable space, and I think it is more comfortable to navigate through a vertical list instead of the top tabs when there is many files opened.
I would apreciate somebody tell me how to do this.

Menu “Settings”, “Preferences”, then from the list on the left select “General”, and in the right side you will see all the “Tab Bar” options. Just check the box labeled “Vertical”.
