If you are just making a suggestion, that’s great…although this probably isn’t the best place to do it (might not be seen by the right people).
However, if you want to have some fun and actually have this functionality TODAY, you can script it if you are willing. Would require the Pythonscript plugin. See this thread: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/community/topic/14130/hide-or-toggle-find-results-panel-with-keyboard-command
