      This forum makes Firefox on Windows go wild. It uses an entire CPU core and makes my CPU fan turn loud. As soon as I close this page, it goes down to normal again. Restarting Firefox doesn’t help. The console log doesn’t show any problems. Makes me want to leave this site as soon as possible.

        @Yves-Goergen

        Not confirm.
        FF 45.7.0 ESR

        Try to restart turning off ALL plugins:

        • hold down the Shift (Optons for Mac) while starting Firefox
          or
        • Help --> Restart with Add-ons Disabled…
          .
