Open text file with double-click of the text file in file explorer does not work if the path or the file contains spaces
-
Up to version 7.5.8 text files could be opened by double-click in the file explorer.
With version 7.5.9 and 7.6 I receive an error message that the file does not exist.
I have created a file “F:\Test NPP\Text Document with Blanks.txt”. Double-click provides a message wether I want to open 1222 files? And then 4 messages that the file does not exist and wether it should be created.Could somebody restore the old behaviour from versions below 7.5.9?
Thanks

Your file association doesn’t have the quotes around the filename argument
-
Thanks. I knew that this is caused by the qoutes.
Now I know where to fix it (manually).
But wouldn’t that be an issue for the setup of npp? -
It would make sense for Notepad++ to properly set the association when installed.
