    Notepad++ will create, what looks like, a link if you type something like “https://www.w3schools.com/nodejs/nodejs_http.asp ”. But when I click on it, it does nothing. I have tried Ctrl/Click, Shift/Click and Alt/Click. How do I follow that link?

          I was presuming that the OP had this enabled, as s/he (probably a “he” – :-D ) said:

          Notepad++ will create, what looks like, a link…

          But yes, @Eddy-Q227 , if the link text does not appear with an underline in the text (and does not turn blue with a changed mouse cursor when you point at it), make sure the setting @Eko-palypse discusses is ticked.
