Notifications (Above Right on the screen) should not close and its count...
-
Notifications that open on clicking the icon Above-Right on the screen closes after we click to open a thread.
If we have 5-6 or more notifications, we have to click on the icon as many time and, on each open, our previous location in notification list is lost, so we have to figure out which notification we had last clicked, and the to click the next notification, and keep on repeating till we click all notification.
Not convenient.
Notifications window should not close on any single click, maybe some button to close it, or close it automatically as soon as that window loses focus ( we click outside of that window or go to other tab)
Also, color of notification doesn’t change, and the count is not reduced, once we click one notification, so on next open, we have the same color on the notifications that we have clicked, and the same count.
Please change the color of notification and reduce count by one, when we click one.
Thanks.

We could guess about what “notification” you are talking about, but since it is your question, why don’t you just be more specific and tell us. Or maybe better, embed a screenshot.

Thanks

this is a normal behaviour.
if you click on a thread that you’ve been notified of, nodebb will relize that you already are reading the post you’ve been notified about and substract 1 from your notification’s list.as a workaround, you can click on “see all notifications” and keep this open in a browser tab, then use another browser tab to read the topics of this community

and substract 1 from your notification’s list.
it doesn’t.

it doesn’t.
yes, you are correct, it will depend on your browser engine and doesn’t do the same for everyone.
(i’m using safari on mac)but at least, if you click on “see all notifications” and keep this open in another browser tab, it solves your problem to figure out which notification you’ve had last clicked (as long as you can remember what you’ve clicked already … worst case: you’ve got a static notification list in a separate tab, which might help you)

OMG, I thought you were talking about something within Notepad++! Like a file-reload prompt or something!!
