I do not receive letters about subscribed topics.
Also I can’t set my email to *@3d-kstudio.com but can change it to *@ukr.net.
I receiving an message in browser “Error Email taken”

i think we originally misunderstood your request as not being related to neither notepad++ nor this nodebb installation.

so you might be correct to post that here, but i don’t know, and can not promise, if we can solve anything.

first of all, please give us a detailed step by step guide on how you tried to subscribe to a topic within this nodebb forum, to get an email feed on topic changes.
(i’m unfamiliar with nodebb mail subscriptions, so i will need a complete noob step by step guide, to be able to reproduce everything you have experienced)

it might also be of relevance which type of login you are using (github, google, etc.)

Second - I can’t change my mailbox to email that contains the character “-”. I mean the profile page https://notepad-plus-plus.org/community/user/oleksandr/edit

how and where did you set any mail notifications, and how can you subscribe topics to be notified via mail ?
i do not see this function anywhere at this specific nodebb instance, and it might be an option of your real, physical account, (like twitter, github, etc), and not an option of this nodebb bbs.

we would really need a step by step guide, and what type of account you are using (github, google, etc.), as requested above, but still without any promises.

if your email address has been already used at your login provider (github, google, twitter, facebook) you will not be able to set it here.
please edit your data at your login provider’s page (your facebook account page, google account page, etc.) as this nodebb can only send requests to your single sign on login provider.

On most forums the “Watch” means that I’ll receive a letters about updating into mailbox without “mind reading” and other wonders.

So much discussion…when it simply doesn’t work that way.

If you post something on this site, you simply just check back later. If there are replies to your posting, the little picture of a bell at the top will have a big fat red number on it. Click that and you will be given choices on where to navigate to. Easy peasy.
