crash issue when right-clicking on the name bar of doc switcher on 7.6.4-7.6.6 (x64 only)

not on all systems, but @rddim and i can now reproduce this on win 7 x64, and the issue author on his win 10 x64

It seems 7.6.6 is quite stable.
Auto-updater will be triggered for this version from this week.

7.6.6 won’t access network drive. Drive is operating and accessible from everything else but not seen by Notepad++ on WIndows 8.1

please check if you see [Administrator] at the notepad++ title bar.
administrator mode (elevated) will not have access to the network drives available to your standard user account.

if closing and re-opening notepad++ will not end administrator mode, or if this has another cause on your isolated machine, please post a new specific topic at the category help wanted, to keep this announcement topic as clean as possible.

Hi,
I fouind interesting think. When I save file with encoding 1253(GREEK) “ΚΠΖ” letters. Next time i open file is opens as OEM 855 encoding.
There is no any probliem if I write any other word in greek. My system is windows 7…
P.S. windows notepad does not have same problem.

diacritics are no longer recognized as word characters resp. are their own group - thus wordwise jumping stops when change from ASCII to diacritic

e.g. (- is the caret position after Ctrl-right arrow)
o lößartige: -l-öß-artige- expected stops -lößartige-
o Häresiewörter: -H-ä-resiew-ö-rter expected stops -Häresiewörter-

i can not reproduce this behaviour on 7.6.6, both 32 and 64 bit.
jumping words with ctrl + right will skip words like lößartige and Häresiewörter entirely in an utf-8 or ansi file.

if your experience still persists after disabling all plugins that could eventually cause this, please post a new topic about that, at the category help wanted.
we will try to help you, as extensively as needed to fix this, at your new topic.

Navigating upside on file page via clicking faster on up arrow results in abrupt behavior, while it is working fine on downside navigation.
Steps:

1. Click on File.

2. Go to bottom arrow and press left key 2-3 time with minimum delay in key press to navigate down -> It works fine and I am able to navigate down.

3. Now go to Top arrow and press left key 2-3 time with minimum delay in key press to navigate up.
   Observed: The file page disappears and the Notepad++ window minimizes.
