      Today, I did update npp.7.6.6.Installer.exe

      Windowblinds was causing the checkbox display issues, prolly caused the incorrect choice for user data folder.

      I could just restore the folders in progra and roaming, which I copied first, and try the update again.

      Is there a simpler way, maybe a settings checkbox?

      I’m assuming it is not looking in appdata for my addons, there are none listed as installed.

        1. plugins manager (3rd party) has been replaced with plugins admin (builtin) - use plugins admin to see if
          your plugin has been already adapted.
          If not,
        2. the directory structure has been changed.
          Former npp version, version < 7.6, would load plugins.dll from plugins directory
          Now, each plugin has to be in a folder under plugins folder with the exact name of the plugin.

          Thanks.
          Just when I had it all setup nice, too.
          If it has to be done, it has to be done.

            All the steps I took to complete the move:
            cd “C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\plugins”
            dir .dll
            for %a in (
            .dll) do @echo %a
            for %a in (.dll) do @echo %~na
            for %a in (
            .dll) do @if not exist %~na echo %~na
            for %a in (.dll) do @if not exist %~na echo %~na & mkdir %~na
            dir
            for %a in (
            .dll) do @move %a %~na
            dir

            Steps that actually did the work:
            cd “C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\plugins”
            for %a in (.dll) do @if not exist %~na echo %~na & mkdir %~na
            for %a in (
            .dll) do @move %a %~na

            Opening NPP again listed the missing addons (all were missing).
            One was outdated, I don’t use it anyway.
