v 7.6.6 tiggerred auto-updater, after ages

today, thankfully, v 7.6.6 tiggerred auto-updater, after ages, I allowed it to download and it duly installed.

all my plugins are working well as earlier after update also.

Great. I don’t know what you had done that had stopped those auto-update message. Glad that it is back.

btw, where does it download the setup file on disk, so that I can save it for future installs.

it usually stays in %Temp%, as e.g. npp.7.6.6.Installer.exe.

you can also always re-download the most recent installers from here: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/
this link will always forward you to the latest version.

or select any of the older versions if you need them.
