    In the previous version I used CTRL + SHIFT + O to search a file in the many open tabs, now don’t work and write [SI]. Does anyone know why?

    Thanks

      @Stefano-De-Blasiis

      You provided no info to help you. Which was “the previous version” and which version are you using now?

      Please provide your debug infos to help us to help you. Go to (menu) ? -> Debug Info... -> Copy debug info into clipboard and paste that data into your next comment.

        welcome to the notepad++ community, @Stefano-De-Blasiis

        there’s an identical issue here, which might be yours:
        https://github.com/notepad-plus-plus/notepad-plus-plus/issues/5704

        i seem unable to reproduce this on an english, spanish and german windows 10 x64, using either an english keyboard layout, or a matching localised keyboard layout.

        ctrl+shift+o is mappable and does not trigger an [SI] character in the editor area, if it is mapped at the shortcut mapper.

        did you try out the portable version as described at the issue ?
        can you provide more information about your system:

        • your debug info from the notepad++ menu ? > debug info... > copy debug info into clipboard
        • any 3rd party keyboard helper software.
        • anything else that might cause this.

        best regards.

          @Stefano-De-Blasiis

          i’ve seen, that you were just missing the file switcher plugin after upgrading to 7.7.
          (on newer notepad++ versions you have to reinstall your plugins, due to the folder structure change)

          important note: please use the new, built in menu plugins > plugins admin to install the file switcher plugin.
          (the old plugin manager does not work on newer versions of notepad++)

          best regards.

              Did you follow the suggestion of @Meta-Chuh to reinstall the File Switcher plugin?
