Dark mode icons with custom styles
-
I’m having an issue with the new dark mode fluent UI icons. Using Windows 10 Dark Mode with a custom desktop theme and a custom style inside NP++ The result is the active icons appear dark, while the inactive icons are light. Is there any way I can invert those colors? So that active icons will be lighter and thus pop out more on a dark toolbar. And inactive icons will be darker and fade more on a darker toolbar?

There are 5 different icon-set choices in Settings > Preferences > General > Toolbar. Choose whichever works best for your eyes.

The colored icons are ugly and outdated in terms of look. The other 4 icon styles are all the same. Just different size and filled icons. So they have the same problem - filled light icons are inactive while filled dark icons are active and barely visible on a dark toolbar. This can be fixed by a simple color inversion of the icon files. Question is where are the icons stored and can I open them in an image editing software such as Photoshop, in order to invert them?
