    when editing and saving system32/drivers/etc/hosts,
    notepad++ ask me to reopen as administer, after I click yes.
    notepadd++ reopen as administrator,

    but all the other tabs are closed and all non-saved docs are lost!

    This is a critical bug!

          Good workaround:
          Avoid by saying “no” when it asks you to reopen as admin.

          Even better workaround:
          Edit your “system32/drivers/etc/hosts” in a separate instance of Notepad++.
