      Hello dears

I would like to thank you first of all for developing and maintaining Notepad++ which have enriched my development experience for several years.

On one of later updates, however, I have noticed that Notepad++ started saving what appears like backup files in the same folder I work on. For a PHP file named test.php for example, a backup file named test.php.bak is added. I hope this can be improved by saving the backup files in another dedicated backup folder instead. This would save me the hassle of deleting them every once in a while.

Looking forward to your kind followup,
      CHEERS!!!

      Yousef A.

Settings->Preferences->Backup should contain everything you need, right?
