Backards match selected text in Find pop-up broken

Correction: To correct, select ‘Normal’ radio button, instead of ‘regular expression’, in the Search Mode box in the lower left of the Find pop-up. This must have been changed during the update, as I don’t recall using it before.

After last update, to v8.4.7, backwards searching for selected text
using the up arrow on the the Find in Files pop-up window is grayed out. Trying to bring up the window with Shift F3 fails.
Select some text and F3 finds the next matching.
But Shift F3 does nothing.
Cntl Shift F3 finds the previous matching.
Select some text and Cntl F brings up the Find pop-up
Checking the box by Find Next will toggle the Up Arrow visibility
on/off, BUT the Arrow, when visible, is grayed out, so using it for
backwards searches matching the selected text is not possible. -

Update process doesn’t change this.
