Notepad++ fake site

A lot of people complain to me that they’ve got malware from a Notepad++ fake site:
https://notldoy.xyzPlease take 5 seconds to help us for reporting such site by using the following link:
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/guidelines/report-spamThank you.

@donho Please obfuscate links to untrusted websites:
https colon slash slash notldoy dot xyz
That’s what @Peterjones advised us. -
@datatraveller1 said in Notepad++ fake site:
Please obfuscate links to untrusted websites
That makes it harder to “report spam” as user has to actually think, not just copy and paste.
No good answers, I’m afraid

@Alan-Kilborn I don’t understand what you mean.
Anyway, I like Peter’s suggestion to obfuscate links to untrusted websites. -

Common sense in this case, would dictate that you let this line of reason go, in this context. Being obtuse, if that’s your intent, isn’t helpful. The gentlemen basically owns the site that is being is being victimized, and in that regard, he’s asking you to report the offending site, to kill it, in this instance. If that’s not clear, well…then go ahead and click and download from it. :)

@Lycan-Thrope Sorry, I didn’t mean to upset anyone. I was just taking Peter’s advice seriously, but no problem, let’s forget the whole thing.

@ Moderator: Since this is a pinned topic and the little discussion about obfuscating isn’t important anymore, you can delete all answers except the “Reported.” answer, no problem for me.
