In France, this model is worth
1,300 €
, which seems a bit more expensive. However, it is slightly different from the one presented. Anyway, I don’t care ! And I also bought an external 24" inch screen
Now, I’m still using N++
v7.9.2
( last N++ version working withWin XP
). I haven’t tried the new versions yet, especially the Dark mode. I hope it will be soon ! I’m going to read all the posts I missed, first !Best Regards

P.S. : I did some speed tests of my home network and I get, in my living-room :
-
With a direct
RJ45
connection :-
Download : between
650
Mbps and950
Mbps -
Upload : between
350
Mbps and480
Mbps
-
-
With a
Wi-Fi
5 Ghz connection :-
Download : between
540
Mbps and560
Mbps -
Upload : between
200
Mbps and230
Mbps
-
Upstairs, at my desk, I used the
PLC
technology and I must change my old HomePlugs, limited to100
Mhz. So, I presently cannot get more than95 Mbps
, both, in download and upload modes. With theWi-Fi
, because of the attenuation, it’s not better : between80 Mbps
and110 Mbps
( download ) and between140
and160
( upload ) ! -

Congrats on the upgrade!
Maybe, ending Windows XP support wasn’t the best thing.
But if we look at it from another point, it prompts people to use better hardware.🙂 -
@guy038 - I hope your new laptop is one that is certified for the new upcoming Windows 11.

and throwing away working computers :-(

That’s quite spartan !
I’m still using my Windows 7, 32 bits, works fine… -
