Select file with one click in Project Panel :
-
Hi,
- How can we switch between files with one click(instead of two click) in View->Project->Project Panel ? .
- How can grouping different files in View->Document List panel (like in Project Panels) ? .

@unal-mk ,
Neither of those features currently exist, so the answer to “how can we” is “we cannot”.
If you are actually asking for new features to be added, this is the wrong place (as our “FAQ: Feature Request” explains). Here, we can just give our thoughts / opinions on the ideas, but we cannot implement them.
Here are my thoughts/opinions:
For one-click switching, that might really annoy some people (like me), because some do a single-click on the filename to make sure it’s selected, then right-click to get the right-click menu, but don’t want to have that initial single-click immediately open the file or change the active file. So if you do end up requesting this feature, please make sure it’s an option to be single-click vs double-click, with the default in the double-click that people are used to.
For document-list grouping: the Document List panel allows you to “group by view” (accessible through the right click menu in Document List Panel) – that is, it can do one “group” for the left or top view, and one “group” for the right or bottom view. If you need more complicated grouping than that, the Developer’s expectation is that you would just use the Project Panel instead of using the Document List panel. I really don’t think adding more complicated manual grouping to Document List is a good idea (especially since as you open and close files, you’d have to keep manually regrouping, which would be annoying; just using the Project Panel would allow it to remember the groups, whether or not the file is actively open).
As a possible compromise between your opinion and mine: Currently, if you use the tab coloring feature (right click on the tab title, and Apply Color to Tab > Apply Color N), the Document List panel will highlight the tab’s name with the same color as the tab. If that’s not sufficient for you, maybe a good feature request would be to ask for a “group by color” checkbox similar to the “group by view” checkbox; then, if you have colored tabs, it will automatically group tabs with the same color in the Document List.
Conclusion:
If you want to request those as features, follow the instructions in the FAQ for how to make a feature request. However, these are actually two separate features, so they should go in two separate requests. If you do make those requests, please come back here and paste in links to the feature requests, so that interested readers can easily follow the results of those requests.

An additional “problem” for one-click: Sometimes, single clicks are “errant”, and big effects from such accidental clicks are annoying, because you then have to undo an action you didn’t intend in the first place.

But if an selection option single/double click feature( like say PeterJones ) only for file switch no problem and make work easier .
