Notepad++ RC 8.6.5 will be out in about one week...

https://community.notepad-plus-plus.org/topic/25497/notepad-release-8-6-4/18?_=1709954235131It’s a notification for the date of Notepad++ RC 8.6.5 availability so plugin authors can add new NPPN_GLOBALMODIFIED notification in their plugins if it’s necessary, then do a release and publish the download URL in Notepad++ Plugin List before the 15th March.
Notepad++ 8.6.5 RC will be available around the 16th March. -
It might not be a bad idea to make this a habit.
Since I do not always have time to monitor the new version releases times, and at the same time I do not want to work on updating my translation before the N++ is at least in the less-variable RC-stage before the release, I ended up following this Announcements thread via RSS for my needs. I noticed at least one other person who seems to be doing it that way too (updating translation only when a RC is announced)
So if you keep this one-week-before-RC announcement, the plugin authors could have an easier life too for publishing & announcing (Plugins Admin…) their new versions on time. Then also at the N++ RC stage e.g. a new/modified N++ API, updated Scintilla, etc… conflicts with the N++ plugins can be tested too.
