      How do i change an end of line (ENTER) into a string of spaces. I would like to change a long list of words in a smaller document.

      Like:

      String 01
      String 02
      String 03

      Into

      String 01_________String 02_________String 03

      The topic maker doesnt give the possibility to add a set of spaces so i use in this example _________.

      Thank you,
      Mondriaan

        @_ ,

        use regular expression mode, and search for \R as the FIND WHAT and replace with the spaces you want. That will literally join every line. If you only want it over a certain region, then select the region first, and use “In Selection” checkbox in the Replace dialog.

        of course, to join all lines, you can also just do Ctrl+A to Select All, then Edit > Line Operations > Join Lines (though that will join with a single space, instead of multiple spaces).
