Feature request: save by clicking the red icon on tab

We can see non-saved tab by the red icon on the tab. In parallel, the save icon in toolbar is also red as non-saved tab is active. Why I should click the toolbar save icon but can not click the icon on tab? To close tab, I do can click the + icon on tab, why not to save???

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit?
