      Hi,

I don’t use Mac but I know a friend was/is using Textmate. Maybe worth a try?

      Cheers
      Claudia

The only one that comes close to Notepad++ is CODA. https://panic.com/coda/

It is the only one that has built in FTP and seamless like Notepad++. It is not as good as Notepad++ nor is ANY mac OS X software I’ve tested, but it is close.

              Microsoft Visual Studio Code.

It’s free and open source, available for Windows, Mac, and Linux (Debian/Ubuntu & Red Hat/Fedora). And it is extensible with plug-ins for many languages.

i know that I’m late but i think the built-in program text edit is the same. been using it for a while and it works.

I recently discovered ‘Brackets’ by Adobe; it’s excellent. It’s not on the AppStore, but if you google it, you’ll find it easily. Completely free, and hundreds of optional extensions for themes, fonts etc to add on. I highly recommend it.
