do we support Notepad++ in Ubuntu OS??

We are using ubuntu 14.04 LTS is Notepad++ support my OS. if yes please provide KT document how to install Notepad++ in ubuntu. IF it is not support please develop a version which support ubuntu also thakns you. because most of the companies try to use open source operations systems. If the great product support ubuntu also it helps lot of companies.
